We just rec'd are orders. We are heading for Duck Creek Village. It is past Cedar City. Dixie Nat'l Forest. As soon as we get our orders we are going. Until next time see ya.

So we are in Ogden and we wait to get our assignment. Heres a pic of my crew

An eventfull day. When we got to Ontario we were called and told we are going to different fire. So as of now we dont know what fire we are going to. Maybe we will end up in Wyoming. Most likely we'll will be somewhere In Utah. Ill keep you posted as i can. Gnight

Wildfire Dispatch

Finally got the call. My crew and I are going to Vernal Utah. The fire is called Wolf Den. So as promised I will try to give updates daily on what is going on and hopefully some pictures as well. This is provided that I have phone service. So check my blog daily for updates. I wont likely be posting on Twitter or Facebook so you will have to check my blog directly.

A Special Day

We went out prospecting and saw something better then gold. We saw a small pack of Coyote pups. Barely had time to snap a few shots.

This Coyote was in the stump. I wished I had my camera then. He was looking at me through the hole you can see in the side of the stump.

We only found a few flakes of gold, but what we saw today made it all worth it. There was 5 or 6 pups. We were in the right place at the right time.
