Early Exit

We were pampered last night. They put us up in a motel and then gave us breakfast this morning. We came back to Vale to check in and they told us that it rained on the fire and they were starting a major demob. So that being said we are scheduled to demob at 1400 today.
Of course that could change. There is storm clouds brewing. Maybe they will decide to hold us over. I'll try to keep you posted. Till the next fire or update........cheers

Fire Season 2013

The season has started. We were dispatched to the Vale District. We may be on the Crowley Creek fire out of Burns. The cell service is poor to non existent. I will try to keep you posted as I can. Stay tuned.......

I have returned

Hello all of you followers of my blog. I am sorry I have been away for some time. I have been a bit preoccupied. I was married on May 11 to a wonderful woman who I love very much. Now things are beginning settle down and I will be back on the blog.
