What a day

This was an interesting day. We were in Jintura Or. We grouped up at the BLM office and then we headed up the road.

Pee Break

Not good
I suppose it s a good thing we took a pee break. We saw a problem. I was an axle seal that had blown out. We nursed it back to camp and had the mechanic look at it. He said he could fix it but it would take a couple of days to get it up and running.

That doesn't work for us. At least that is if we want to get paid. If we break down we have 24 hours to get the truck repaired and back on the line. if it takes longer then that.....well then we don't get paid.

So we nursed it back to Burns and checked into a motel for the night. needless to say it was beer and pizza night.

Because of long time friends we were able to get the truck back up and running within 24 hours, Also we saved a pile of money. The mechanic in Jintura told us t would cost us 2-3000 to repair. Our friend did it for $300.00 plus parts.

Buzzard Complex

So they moved us to the Buzzard Complex. We were camped in Crane. We did a late shift.

Our job was to support the hand crew and to watch their backs. They used the cat {as you can see in the picture} to cut line as far up the hill as possible. Then the hand crew dug line from where the cat had to leave off.

Super Bowl Bound

A hearty congratulations to the Seattle Seahawks for a remarkable comeback, and a Super Bowl birth.
Also I want to send a special congratulations to all the diehard fans who suffered all the years and all the bad jokes.

Win or lose we can enjoy the moment. Soak it in and enjoy it. You deserve it.

Also thanks to Paul Allen for bringing us a championship team.

A new dynasty is at hand! Seattle will be the first team to three peat!

Enjoy the ride it won't last forever!!

Go Hawks!
