Well the dust has settled and the smoke is gone. Things are winding down. Looks like the season is nearly over. However there is still work to do.
Yesterday we sat on an initial attack assignment. That is being staged ready for a new start. If it happens we go after it and try to stop it from getting big.
Today we are expecting to go up to the flooded cabins and pull all the hose and sprinklers that were set up to protect them.
It has been a good season and we will try to get a little more work. Rehab or whatever they will allow us to do. Provided we are invited. Until then we have just a few more days left In our season. But you never know as Spock says there are always possibilities...
